The Most Wonderful Time of the Year[]
- (The screen reveals the outside of the Central Park Zoo as "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" plays in the background. Also, the title of the short fades in, then fades out as the screen to inside the Central Park Zoo, Julien inspects the preparations.)
- Chorus: ♪Jing-a-ling. Jing-a-ling.♪
- King Julien: Okay, Mort. The mangos go on that table, and the eggnog goes over there. And remember. Make sure the Italian Christmas cakes are arranged in fun holiday shapes.
- (Julien turns to Alex, Marty and Gloria, who were decorating Melman's neck with Christmas lights)
- Ah, New York Giants! I just love this holiday, Do you?
- Alex: (Looks down) Sure, Julien.
- Gloria: You have no idea.
- King Julien: This is gonna be the best Christmas party ever. Because this year, everybody's gonna sing their favorite Christmas carol. I hear even the you guys are gonna sing.
- Marty: Oh yeah.
- King Julien: YAY! (laughs and runs off)
- Melman: (looking down at his friends) What has gotten into this hyperactive lemur?
- Marty: I don't know.
- (we cut to Julien breaking out into song.)
- King Julien: ♪It's the best happiest time of the year!♪
- Lemur Chorus: ♪Jing-a-ling. Jing-a-ling.♪
- Julien: ♪With the parties and carols, and monkeys in barrels (Mason and Phil pop out of the nearby barrel) for everyone here!♪
- (We cut to Julien approaching the caged Begum and his marmosets)
- King Julien: Maurice, look! [points to the caged Begum and his marmosets] It's a white-bearded man and his elves! [laughs]
- Mr. Drake Begum: (Caged) It's Drake Begum! Now let us out of this cage, lemur!
- King Julien: Why? So you can harm the giants, again? I don't think so. (Runs up to the penguins looking at a Santa statue) Hey, Skipper, do you like it? It's a mega-sized Santa replica made from brown sugar!
- Kowalski: Auctually, we made it from plastic, not brown sugar!
- King Julien: (Runs up to Vitaly) Hey, Vitaly, you gotta try the lemurs' sugary reindeer truffles.
- Vitaly: Oh, no thank you. I'm on a diet. Plus, junk food makes you go crazy.
- Stefano: I heard that!
- Skipper: (to the plate of gingerbread cookies) Alright, boys. Commence Operation: Ice those cookies is a go-team!
- Rico (moans, hungrily)
- King Julien: ♪It's the warm fluffiest season of all. (wings on a vine)♪
- Lemur Chorus: ♪Jing-a-ling. Jing-a-ling.♪
- King Julien (While swinging on a vine): ♪Where the fun never ends (gets off the vine and does a backflip) and the puppies right here can't park on the dance floor.♪
- (We cut to Benny, Eddie, Lenny, Sally and Manny, near Calvo and Theo)
- Benny: ♪We'll be shocked if this can't end with a war♪
- (the dogs laugh beside Benny)
- King Julien: (jumps on Marty's treadmill) my peoples! I want to thank all of you for coming out to my Holiday Extravaganza Caroling Christmas-tacular. I hope you all have been brushing up on your singing, more than the monkeys brushing their teeth.
- Mason (turns to Phil, with a mouthful of toothpaste): Just swallow the toothpaste, Phil.
- King Julien: ♪(Jumps off Marty's treadmill) There'll be banquets and women♪
- Melman: And presents!
- Mao: And snowmen.
- Kaya: (with Marty) ♪And games filled with Holiday fun ♪
- Stefano: ♪(Turns around holding a giant candy cane) There'll be candy...♪
- Theo: ♪(Turns around holding a container of strawberry-flavored ice cream) and ice cream...♪
- Ria: ♪(Turns around holding a plate of fruitpie) and fruitpie ♪
- Lenny: ♪ (gets frightened) and bad dreams! ♪
- King Julien: ♪And stocking for everyone!♪
- ♪It's my most favorite time of the year!♪
- (Mort licks the pink frosting top of a white cake)
- Lemur Chorus: ♪Jing-a-ling. Jing-a-ling.♪
- King Julien: ♪And you don't wanna leave, 'cause if you all believe Santa soon will be here! ♪It's the best happiest time...♪
- Calvo: Where did you learn how to rhyme?
- (Tempo of the music slows down a tad)
- King Julien: ♪Christmas is my favorite time... of the year!♪♪
- (On the final note, the lemurs swing down from the vines, tossing balloons and confetti)
- King Julien: (laughs) Now we've gotten ourselves a party! Now, who's gonna sing next? Anybody? Nobody? Okay, well then I'll sing another. ♪La-eeeee...!♪
- (Maurice's hand appears onscreen closing Julien's mouth)
Jingle Bells[]
- (To the music, three spotlights shine onto each dog. One for Benny, Lenny, and Sally)
- Benny, Sally and Lenny: ♪begging for our snack.♪
- Sally: ♪ There are burgers and hot dogs♪
- (The three dogs look up various food dropping down)
- Lenny: ♪ Pizza's here for our pack. french fries and corn dogs! ♪
- Sally, Eddie and Manny: [howling to the tune]
- Benny: ♪ Milkbones and such bless♪
- (We see the long table loaded with candy, birthday cakes, doughnuts, cookies, and a container of ice cream Eddie is eating)
- Benny and Sally: ♪ How we like to eat. It brings joy and happiness♪
- Lenny: ♪ It's a doggie's favorite treat ♪
- Alex, Marty and Gloria: ♪So, Juicy steaks. chocolate cakes. Try our veggie chips.♪
- (Melman munches down on zucchini-flavored chips)
- Maurice ♪(Slides a cup of grape juice to Mort) I know I just love Grape juice.♪
- Melman: ♪ And there's a little tip ♪
- (Julien and two lemurs pop out of the fruitcake)
- King Julien: Hey!
- Sally, Benny and Lenny: ♪tater tots, soup's so hot.♪
- Lenny: ♪Ketchup tastes so fine.♪
- Benny, Sally, Lenny, Marty, Alex, Melman, Gloria, King Julien, Maurice and Mort: ♪ Chicken wings and Turkey wings, it's the perfect way to dine! ♪
Let it Snow[]
- (Snowflakes fall, transitioning to Theo walking onto the stage.)
- Theo: Back in my old home, we Galapagos creatures celebrate the holiday season with this song.
- (We see Theo dressed up in a bowler hat, a bowtie and holding a cane)
- Theo: ♪Oh......the weather outside is freezing! (music begins)♪
- (Behind Theo, paintings of raindrops on wooden cutouts dangle from the ceiling. Then Mort and three lemurs walk on stage holding rain signs)
- Theo: ♪And the thunder won't stop-a leaving. But since we need freshwater. Let it rain. Let it rain. Let it rain. since it doesn't stop pouring for hours. But it helps give us some flowers. Although my scales don't feel pain. Let it rain. Let it rain. Let it rain. ♪
- (To the jazz solo, the Indian elephants pour water on Theo, doing a majestic pose)
- Theo: ♪ When the seals go swim, tonight. ♪ (several harbor seals appear on stage) ♪ Guys, I hate going out in the storm. If I light a fire, inside. All the way, I will be more warm. the raindrops are slowly stopping. ♪ (the lemurs hold out sun signs) ♪ and there's plenty of corn for popping♪ (Mort appears in the stage, holding a bag of popcorn) ♪ And my scales never feel more pain.....Let it rain, Let it rain, Let it rain........♪ (music ends with the Indian elephants pouring water on Theo, once again.) Yeah.
- (Curtains close with a giant banner saying "LET IT RAIN". The crowd of animals applaud, then we cut to the penguins, carrying the batch of gingerbread cookies out of the oven)
- Skipper: Alright, boys. Mission accomplished. Let's eat.
- Mort: My cookie! (takes one of the cookies from the penguins)
- Skipper: Hey!
- Private: Don't you think that it is nice to share.
- Skipper: Your right, Private.
- King Julien: All right, peeps! last song, here we go!
Jingle Bell Rock[]
- (A cardboard painting of King Julien's face zooms in, then zooms out of the screen "Batman"-styled. Then the guitar riff cues up the final song.)
- All: ♪Wildlife, Wildlife, Wildlife fun. Jungle palooza, and born to run.♪
- (The penguins lift three cookies arranged as a snowman and toss each cookie onto each plate)
- King Julien: ♪Snowman, you know, man, and strawberry pie!♪
- (Camera flies over to Mort dancing on top of a table)
- Mort: ♪It's a lemur's treat and I can't lie! ♪
- (Camera flies over to the penguins pushing the plate full of Christmas cookies)
- Penguins: ♪Penguin one, penguin two, and cookity do.♪
- (We cut to Alex and Gia surrounded by raining popcorn)
- Alex and Gia: ♪Home by midnight, 'cause Santa is due. ♪
- Mao: ♪Berries and cherrys and meleon tart cake. ♪
- King Julien, Maurice and Mort: ♪ our dessert to bake! ♪
- King Julien: ♪Our confetti, with raining dasies, as the lemurs trim the tree.♪
- (Gia and Alex both swing on the trapeze)
- Alex: ♪It's Trapeze time. ♪
- (Marty and Stefano gets shot out of the cannon)
- Marty: ♪ Cannon flying time. ♪
- Mr. Drake Begum: (Caged) and a stocking of coal for me.
- All Four penguins: ♪Henguiny Penguiny.♪
- Stefano: tiger roar, now!
- (Vitaly roars right on cue)
- Gia and Calvo: ♪ Shake the rafters loud. ♪
- Private: ♪ Flying and Lying it's the Avian's way. ♪
- All: ♪That's the Wildlife, that's the Wildlife, that's the Wildlife rock!♪♪
- (Rico shoots out fireworks)
- Skipper: All right, boys. Commence operation: sing-along. is complete. high one!
- (All four penguins did high fives)
- (We cut to a black screen with green subtitles saying "MERRY CHRISTMAS!". In the background, snowflakes are shown falling.)
- All (Off-screen): Merry Christmas!
- Mort (Off-screen): And Thank you for making King Julien's caroling party Christmas-tacular!
- King Julien (Off-screen): Quiet, Mort!
